5 Ideas to Get You Cleaning

I've never lived alone but I really want too! I don't have the funds yet but I just cannot wait to be on my own. Eating when and what I want and not having to be responsible for other people. I just cannot wait till I get some freedom.

@D3NIAL, Nope. There is a movie, I can't remember the name of it but they hid a bunch of cash in the fridge. Everything was taken including the money and food. I'd never put it past burglars to steal the fridge if they knew you weren't going to be home for a few days.

I have cats and they'd get under my bed and inside the bed because my bottom was ripped. Before I repaired the bed I used to use sheets stretched and around the bed legs in a basket weave kind of look. I can't really explain into detail what I did but I'm sure you'd be able to understand and DIY in your own way.

@Miasfl, I think your cat is throwing up because he ingested the Frontline. It is a good treatment.

I've had an infestation before and the only thing that cured it was bombing the house. The problem is that I have outdoor cats and they love being outside, i'd never take that away from them. But now they're bringing in fleas again. Doesn't anyone else have any tips besides deep cleaning and not letting them outside anymore?

You can get a damp cloth and rub down your sofa in one direction. Comes off easily. I used to have a Malamute and they leave hair everywhere! Lol.

Has anyone here ever read the book "The Richest Man in Babylon" by George Clason? It's a great book that gives alot of people tips on saving money as well as managing it for a profitable income and putting them into short stories. I found it quite informative. It was hard to read if you're not used to the 'thyn' and 'thou' language but you get used to it.

I've tried this before & all i've got to say is that it takes longer then a couple of hours. Personally, I'm the type of person who will do something for as long as it amuses me then leave it there. Plus it's a bit messy.

I use clay litter, it doesnt clump aswell but I've been using it for years but mine go outside & if they get stuck inside they'll use it.

I have the worst sleeping problems. I can go to sleep at 8 or 9 pm and I'll wake up at 3 or 4 am, then stay up for a few hours because I don't immediately go back to sleep and when I finally go to sleep and wake up, it's 1 or 2pm. Otherwise I'll go to sleep between 12 and 2 and I'll sleep for a full 12 to 14 hours. It's like God's telling me he doesn't want me to wake up in the mornings!

I don't like food in my bedroom, just 'cause I don't trust myself to not leave crumbs. My cats weren't allowed, but I revoked that rule when it started getting colder.

I do have a t.v in my room and I'll watch a movie but it goes off and gets covered. I also have a big thing about covering reflective surfaces, curtains being shut perfectly and draws being closed properly before I go to sleep. I've been doing those things since I was young and I just can't sleep if one thing isn't done.
