Thank you, @Mary B C! I wanted to say something but couldn't articulate it as well as you did. I don't personally like some of these, but I don't personally have to live with them. Most of my "art" is hung traditionally. I do have two pieces propped on top of a short bookcase. I love the way they look layered against each other. Neither of them is anything precious- a framed poster and the other is some vintage postcards. My art, my way.

A piece as amazing as that bed SHOULD be the focal point of a whatever room it is in. Dividing up an already small space just makes it feel more cramped (living in 400sq feet myself, I know this from experience) This is light and open. Fantastic job. I need some of his Craigslist mojo!!

I made this for my very non-vegan family and it was a big hit. It was moist and tender with a wonderful orange flavor. I did make make a major alteration: as I'm not a huge fan of marmalade, I made some dark caramel sauce instead. The orange and caramel worked well very together. I'm going to make it again for my vegan coworker and I'll use the marmalade then. Delicious!

The flavor of this casserole is outstanding! One of my favorite flavor combos is lemon, parsley, garlic, and cheese. Like most other posters mine isn't an exact replica of the recipe: I used Trader Joes Brown Rice Medley, TJs Cheddar/Guyere cheese and (unfortunately) dried rosemary. I only had 2 cans of chickpeas so I used more rice. Mine wasn't dry but didn't bind together well- maybe another egg would help. Regardless, it is super tasty and I'm actually looking forward to the leftovers.

These have been on my "to-make" list since this was posted. What a great, satisfying little snack! I took advantage of all the options and even used cinnamon and nutmeg mixed in and a little on top. My other tweek was to sprinkle a little turbinado sugar on top as they were cooling- they just weren't quite sweet enough for me. Less than a tablespoon did the trick and pulled all the favors together. These are easy and infinitely customizable and I'll be making them again soon.

I remember this home being featured in Ready Made magazine. I loved it then and now. The furniture fits right in to this retro home and I'd kill for a glass tile shower like that.

This looks like a happy place to live! All the colors and patterns harmonize instead of compete with one another.

Thank you@Illegal Danish- I couldn't agree more. I love every aspect of this home except the TV over the fireplace. I cringe every time I see one hung like this. It is just too high up on the wall for comfy viewing and is aesthetically unpleasing. However that is the only thing I can find to criticize here....wishing I was in the market for a Wiscosin home!

I'm in love with the architectural detailing of the space, the credenza, and all of the art on the walls. This looks like a bright, happy space to reside in.

I'm coveting your furniture...all of it! And I'm a big fan of Ork! Posters too.

I love this space! It is open, bright, uncluttered and harmonious which makes living in a space this size enjoyable. I think the only thing I'd change is to center the sofa between the windows, but I see why it is where is.

I live just north of your neighborhood and I'm currently looking for new cute little studio. Your style fits in well with the quirky nature of the space....I just wish I could snag the mini-loft for myself!

The kitchen is too cute!

While I can pick out a couple IKEA pieces, I think there is enough personality and variety here to keep it from looking like a catalogue page.

I'm jealous of the ridiculously high ceilings and all the storage in the kitchen. The loft probably wouldn't work for me but I think it is a resourceful and well done solution...some lofts can be really ugly!

I love the division of space. I've spent the last two years in a studio wishing I could create a "bedroom" like this. I'm moving soon to another studio and this is giving me a lot of inspiration!

Like everyone else, I'm in love with the rug, but also the light fixture and side chairs. As a Chicagoan I noticed the blown up photo from Cloud Gate on the picture ledge, and I have to admit to saving all of my old Domino mags too. What a happy place to work in!
