If you have access to a top-loading washer and are feeling a bit crafty, you could dye a nice set of white sheets. I did this recently to make a matching duvet/sheet set using fiber reactive dyes from dharma trading and they came out flawless- no streaks or uneven tones. If you use proper dye (i.e. not the stuff at the grocery store) and follow directions, you get a very good, long-lasting result. Source for Good Quality Olive Green Sheets? Good Questions |

Aspidistras tolerate low light very well. They have long, tall leaves, and can grow to a decent height, maybe 20" or so (at least that's how tall my tallest one is). Also, if you happen to have cats, they are non-toxic to cats, which was a big deal for me. I ordered mine online from a nursery because I couldn't find any in my area, but you might have luck locally. Apartment Therapy Boston | Dying Plant, Blank Wall! What Belongs Here? Good Question |
