Oh how wonderful. My uncle worked for ATARI, many years ago and we got their first game console, which I would play for hours. A friend at the time owned a Commodore game station, which used cassette tapes to load games. It started with tennis-pong but it went more complicated after that. Good times. My moving day coinsided with the coldest day of the year -10 celcius. There was no warmth in my old appartment because everything had been turned down to save money. When everything was loaded - the moving van would not start at all. It had to be towed away. Which meant I had two complety empty freezing cold appartments, with nothing in it. I had to stay over at my parents for a few days until the van got fixed and I could finally have my own bed and other stuff. What's Your Worst Moving Horror Story? |

These all costs lots of money. I bought a second hand, big plastic round bin (so I can roll it around), 10 euros, and drilled lots of holes into it for oxygen. Outdoor Composting Bins Roundup |

Is it really such a bad idea? I was actually planning of making just such a hanging bed for a very sheltered/covered area of my garden. Also I thought that since there are so many cushions for sale for outside use, mould resistant (think outdoor lounging) - why wouldn't a special matress work? I'd like to hear your comments before I start this project! Make Your Own Bed Swing |

It looks lovely. However it doesn't seem very practical to be honest. When you get in and out of a bath, you always hold on to the sides. You can't do that with a sheet of glass - it would hurt your hands! Saying that, I wouldn't say no if it was given to me! Make a Big Splash: Clear Glass Tub Boston Home Magazine |

Actually I have this in my backyard too. The same sails can be found at IKEA for 29.99 (euros). Well worth it. DIY Wishlist: A Patio Shade Sail |

It does look lovely and intimate. Unfortunately I do have a table in the middle of the room, so the wires would be in the way. A Lamp on the Dinner Table |

I'd love to read about an other easy alternative too. Preferably that can be made in advance and have some greens. And of course pretty practical lunchboxes. It's Lunch Week at The Kitchn! 3 Square Meals (and Dessert!) |
