It will take a while to get used to it. It's not bad, but ... there are some things missing. Like the archive search: since my free time is limited I had the habit of browsing past posts by the weekly archives; a bookmark and I knew where to re-start my reading from. It was kind of like re-reading a favourite book. Oh well, can't have it all I guess! Welcome to the New Apartment Therapy! |

This is so impressive to me. Especially because where I live houses are build out of stones (well, bricks, I don't know the terminology), and concrete foundations (earthquakes...). So moving a building is extremely rare. To my knowledge a couple of churches have been moved a couple of meters away, and that because they were monuments and could not be demolished. This is so fantastic for the residents who love their homes not to mention eco-friendly... Save on Packing: Move the House! |

This place is super-organised, I'll give you that; I think it's a waste of money, but hey, if the tenant is happy, good for him. But ... small space or not ... cuttlery above the shoes? That's kind of disgusting, sorry. Microwave under the clothes? Ok, not so disgusting but won't the clothes smell afterwards? Any way, Luke seems like a nice guy and as I said he seems happy, so I guess this post goes to show how different peoples' perspectives can be. I substituted the coffe table with a round ottoman. Now my dog uses it as a bed and the edge of the couch is his pillow! A brilliant strategic move, now he can watch tv and/or sleep while we caress him :) The Best Piece Of Furniture According To Your Pets |

I almost cried when I heard my parents got rid a 1960 HMV tv set. It was the most amazing piece of furniture with a wood built-in cabinet. I don't know if it's valuable but to me it was a precious piece of technology... I Can't Believe My Parents Got Rid Of (Insert Item Here)... |
