Love this article. My favorite in a long time. I agree that it is absolutely essential to have a good sense of your own style when creating your space, but that doesn't mean you can't experiment. Creating my space over the past year has actually been a satisfying journey of self-exploration and discovery. I absolutely love this. Every inch of this space oozes with style. I also love how often I click on a space, fall in love with it, and see that it's located in DC (as am I). We get such a reputation for being a cold city that's just about politics, but in reality--design, culture, and the arts flourish here!
