I like the blue & purply ones best! What I like about the first pic is that it shows how a painted ceiling can add lots of color to the mostly white space. It might even be easier than painting the cabinets.

I love macerated strawberries w/ nutella & (real) whip cream on top or cajeta & macerated strawberries w/ whip cream on top!!! I never seem to make it past those two.

i have a vintage fridge which has this same setup of a small "icebox" inside the fridge and I love it! It holds an icecream pint, ice cubes, and baggies of frozen bananas. Mine (being old) must be defrosted, but it was be nice that the Smeg never does! A smaller fridge is a great way to save energy and looks so much better in my kitchen. I wish I could get one!

i appreciate raw recipes on ktchn. I agree that too many of the raw "uncook books" feature wildly nuanced and overly difficult recipes but raw food recipes don't have to be that way. Also, nuts should be treated more like dessert, so recipes that have you buying, soaking, and grinding nuts & dehydrating stuff should be thought of as more indulgent recipes. I agree that organic fruits are really expensive, and it is sad that families in the US are forced to eat boxed food instead of real food because of our agri-business farming style. Imagine if organic fruit was $1/lb instead of $2.50! I checked out a bunch of raw uncook books at the library until I found recipes that were easy for me. My fav this week is massaged kale salad!

Not a cartoon, but I would go with the Wallace & Grommett kitchen! All those gadgets! Make toast and put your pants on at the same time!
