One of my favorites is putting spaces on my dock to group like icons together using a Terminal command. Each time you enter the command, it inserts a blank “space” on the Dock. So if you want four spaces, enter the command four times.

Open up Terminal — found in Application/Utilities and enter:

defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps -array-add ‘{tile-data={}; tile-type=”spacer-tile”;}’

In order to see the changes, you have to restart the Dock. Enter the following command in the Terminal:

Killall Dock

The spaces appear at the end of the icons that are in the Dock. Treat them like any other icon. Just grab and drag them around to wherever you want. If you have too many spaces and want to delete one, simply drag it off the Dock or right click on the empty space and select ‘Remove from Dock.’

I had to do a double take on this one! I have to agree with everybody else.....I really like the before picture better. Those cabinets are an "upgrade"? Maybe the picture isn't doing it justice?

I think the remodel is nice, but I agree with the others about the before! Love those tiles. So sad they couldn't have been salvaged. :(
