I went to the Dekalb Farmer's Market this week, so I will be roasting the spaghetti, butternut and acorn squash I picked up along with a pork roast and steamed broccoli tonight. Hopefully, there will be leftovers for tomorrow.

Our washer and dryer are in the kitchen of our house built in the early 60's. It is a vast improvement over our other house where the laundry room was outside under the carport.

I cracked up when I read this post as I live in Decatur, GA and our power was out Sunday morning before the storm hit. When the power came back on, I made sure that my cellphone was fully charged. I usually charge it every other day.

Thanks lona. There are quite a few different ways to do eggs - omelets, frittatas, quiche, etc. What can I do with the yolk once I separate the eggs? Hair conditioner, maybe?

I have some flax seed meal from the DeKalb Farmers Market and I used it in salmon burgers. They were delish and anything to add fiber into my family without an off taste goes well by me.

Thanks AustinRP. I actually forgot cottage cheese was low carb. Depending on the carb & fiber content, I may be able to pull off the smoothies with a small amount of fruit. Mom prefers Almond Breeze to the various soy milks I was buying.

Could anyone help with low carb breakfast ideas? I am primary caregiver to my elderly disabled mother who has diabetes and we just found out her cholesterol is a little elevated, so we have to cut down on the eggs for breakfast. Thanks.

What happened with this? I only saw one kitchen and was wondering if there were others posted.

Tonight I think I'll make grilled vegetable sandwiches with olive-mustard sauce, frozen fruit tart and watermelon punch. I wanted to make a jerk black bean burger, but I've misplaced my recipe and someone ate all my mushroom, onion & mozzarella burgers.

Great price. I'd use it when my niece & nephew visit. My two year old nephew always falls off my bed when he's sleeping.

Oh and all the songs are great with the house tours. They match perfectly!

Michael will continue to affect people through his music. I love the fact that you can put one of his CDs on and play it straight through and almost everyone will enjoy it. My sisters and I grew up with the Jackson 5, Farrah Fawcet and Ed McMann. This week really sucks.

Wow, this is a great idea. My mom still displays the green whale that my now 15 year old made in 2nd grade. I wonder if she'll let me borrow it.

My sister still cleans like this, my oldest son dumps everything in a pile on the floor and my youngest son really doesn't make much mess. He kind of puts his stuff away when he's done with it.

My cilantro is dying, the squirrels and chipmunks are digging holes in the yard, flowers and in my pots, and my spade broke when I was planting the petunias. The only things that are thriving are the mosquitos, but I love summer!

I don't have a knife set but would like to get one or two really good knives with metal handles. I'm embarrassed to admit that I was washing an old knife yesterday and the PLASTIC handle broke.

Could you please post the recipe for cauliflower curry? It sounds delicious.

The boys stayed up late Friday and made three batches of peanut butter cookies over the weekend. They had cheese omelets for breakfast, broccoli with shrimp and rice for lunch and stir fried vegetables with chicken for dinner on Saturday. Today, it was salmon cakes with carmelized onions, hot dogs for lunch and my youngest son's favorite - "stuffing soup" with baked chicken thighs and green beans.
