Very nice apartment. I also travel internationally and love to collect mementos (knick-knacks and such) of the places I've been and the people I've met. I can tell that your artifacts give you pleasure in remembering, as mine do for me. And I really am not concerned if someone else doesn't like it - it makes me happy!! I love your entire apartment, from the entryway to the workspace/reading area to the bedroom. And no - I didn't think you were an undercover interior decorator - (It wouldn't have looked so nice if you were ;-) ) - mainly because decorators and others are often trying to "impress" someone or come up with something way over the edge that in real life would not be livable. You style reflects years of coming to know yourself and your own style, but at the same time shows freshness with the "new life" that you've created for yourself. I like the comfy-cozy casual - ness of your apartment! I'm beginning to discover that I relate more with spaces that aren't so "put together" or sterile. I couldnt get past all the colors of the curtains when I first saw them, but I liked the feel of the rooms, particularly the living room. When I saw the brightly colored play area and your sweet daughter, suddenly the bursts of colors made more sense. I voted super cool.
