I used the bouncy seat when he was tiny, but now that he's one and mobile, curious, and easily bored, I make sure I shower before my husband leaves for work. But there are always days that won't work, and those days I either don't shower or shower during the first nap. How's a New Mom Supposed to Get a Shower? |

We returned a jumparoo that my in laws bought for us - they didn't understand why we didn't want it in our tiny condo. Our 7 month old is doing just fine without it, thanks. We also ended up not using a pacifier at all, despite my mother's constant nagging that we give him one. What Did You Think You Couldn't Live Without...But Can? |

from a new mom (6 months in), that is the most impractical set up i could imagine. our little one woke every 1.5 - 2 hours for 2 months +, and i can't imagine going up and down and up and down...especially in the few tender weeks after birthing the child. we co-slept, and that seems impossible with this set up. and how is the poor pregnant momma going to get into bed before the baby even comes?
