@Wig3000 I have several Cast iron dutch ovens (le Cres and Staub - love them both for different reasons). The round 5.5 dutch oven is the most versatile size. The round is great for the stovetop (unlike the oval which can have obvious "cool" spots when placed on a round burner) and anything larger than a 5.5 can get too heavy to lift when filled with a stew.
IF I HAD to choose between Staub or Le Cres, I would choose Staub. It's black interior hides stains better over time...

Yeah.....handmade in Italy??!! It's still hay in a plastic case...I'm pretty open minded but this looks like it should be posted on April 1st...

I have several pieces of Ikea furniture and I as I assemble it, I reinforce all joints, dowels, etc with wood glue. On my outdoor pieces, I add brass corner supports on the inside of all the legs (available from the local hardware store). It definitely adds to the longevity of the furniture.

I just bought this for my summer dining outside on the deck. I love it!!

RH used to offer smart design. However in their attempt to "distance themselves from other furnitive retailers", they have managed to distance themselves from their traditional customers. I have one of their "studio sofas" (it's still HUGE) and I do like it but this new direction is BORING. It is all the same...the same colour...the same "reclaimed wood"...the same "grand scale".

You can add all the pompous language you want...it's still mass produced reproductions dressed up to sound more than what it is.
