Can you add vi-spring to your must try mattress list? This is the brand I am targeting when I upgrade from all my research. (I work in interior design). It will be at the luxury price point. They are sold @ ABC Carpet + Home. Thanks for all the important research testing! Review: Saavta Luxury Firm Mattress A Year in Bed |

First of all congrats on your upcoming family additions. I think its so lovely to read about couples that are passionately enjoying life. There are too many people who put this off and then it never happens. Your flat is fantastic, those wide plank floors are amazing. I am also jealous that you live in Notting Hill. My husband and I spent a couple years living in Covent Garden and while that was amazing if I moved back I think I would pick Notting Hill for the charm and neighborhood vibe. Your mirrors are wonderful, add elegance and bounce light around wonderfully. I was itching to add something like a tall vase in your foyer to connect the high and low visual lines. Also I want to move your Bienvenue sign in the kitchen to over the table to tie to your lovely pop of yellow chairs. Very warm, happy apartment; thanks for sharing with AT readers! This is just absolutely brilliant across the board from the business model to the design. Love it! I wish I was in San Fran to visit. Can you open a nyc location next? : ) Get the Royal Treatment at Sarah, Carrie & Tammy's Revamped Victorian Creative Workspace Tour |

Looks like a fantastic creative space! Love the hand scraped hardwood floor. Do you have the wood type/source for that? Perfect environment for creative stimulation. Love it, well done. Real Life at Home: Matt's Converted Garage Design Studio |

Sophisticated, soothing, sexy, stunning! Extremely well edited, and lovely visual respite, even for just the picture tour. I am sure the pics don't quite do your place justice. Thrilled to see the Saarinen accent tables in black/nero. Just ordered one myself for infront of a dark aubergine leather sofa. I could enjoy many ginger martinis in your space. Cheers! Also - can you post the name of the artist for the amazing orange piece? Roy's South-to-North Big Switch House Tour |

West elm also sells a bookshelf that looks similar, you could use as both a divider and storage/display. It is on wheels that lock, so easy to move around if you need a change. Apartment Therapy Boston | Good Question: Open Headboard as Space Divider? |

Does anyone know where someone can purchase those twisted wood pieces in the first picture to the left of the bed? There is a reclaimed bed in a Sundance catalog I get that is even more beautiful. Apartment Therapy Boston | Reclaimed Wood Plank Bed from Viva Terra |

I don't think you need to add anymore or you will take away from the strength of your beautiful painting. Why not consider removing a couple of the smaller pieces on your sideboard and adding a bigger colored accessory that pics up a color from your Italy painting. Something red or green. Maybe something that also suggests Italy or a beautiful glass vase. I think your white wall is the perfect background not to compete with your art and accessories! Don't add to the wall (in my humble opinion). Apartment Therapy New York | Good Questions: Rescue This White Wall? |

I use an inexpensive (solid not open) magazine holder so I can put both my dryer and flat iron in it. It also helps to hide the cords. The faux chocolate leather one I have is from Crate & Barrel and does not take up much space. West elm sells a dark tree looking coat rack for a steep $199 but that would look cool with the hairdryer and flat iron looking like they were hanging from a "tree". Also good for towel hanging. Fantastic! Love this! I think this home has a level of sophistication that not everyone would be used to. I don't think it looks retail at all. It looks like great high end taste. I want to hang out in the AJ Egg Chair! With the proper lighting the photos would really pop which I am sure everything does in person. Pictures don't do this place justice. Katherine - your loft is truly lovely! I think loft dwellers in general go for the specific and unique character that a loft provides. Thus - I would definitely keep the brick natural - and I think even the HVAC piping adds tremendous character. If you take away the uniqueness and the textures you are moving more and more toward a general boxy condo feel. Also - what computer program did you use to do your floor plan? I agree with comments that white sheers in particular will both brighten and counter the hardness of the brick with their softness. I love silk curtains next to brick also for contrast. The bookcase (with the backwards books) is from West Elm. The lucite sconces, we have two different versions - one in the stairwell, one in the office - are from Ligne Roset. Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI House Tour: Kimberly Josh's Loft in Transition |

Sectional, but with round coffee table instead. Losing the edges will create better flow. Not knowing the design of the tv stand - could it go on an angle in the corner for visual interest? Also you may want to add another lamp and chair for balance - depends if you will also have overhead lighting. I have a sectional, and my favorite spot is curling up in that corner. Lastly - I love Room & Board and have only had really positive experiences with them. Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI Good Questions: Sectional, Long Couch or 2 Couches? |
