I have several wedding pictures in my house. A couple of me and the hubs, and a few with friends/family. I also generally have a lot of photographs as decor in my home. I would be terrible on one of those staging shows.

I agree that this sounds like a lot of unnecessary stress to save a few bucks in the grand scheme of a wedding. My wedding is an example of how you really can't be prepared with the music lists. We had the DJ ready with "dinner music" and all of our 20 something guests would not stop dancing when dinner was served. The DJ asked us if he should keep playing dance music, and we said "sure!" People danced all night, pausing a couple times to grab bites from their dinner plates.

I also like being able to request songs during the evening. I never would have thought to submit "Shoop" in advance for my sister's wedding, but we requested it on the fly and ended up doing an impromptu performance. Not everything has to be meticulously planned ;)

We face a courtyard/other buildings, so we can sorta see other people. We wave to the neighbors on their balcony, and I see the people across the way watching TV. I just don't walk around undressed without the blinds closed, and besides that, I don't worry too much about it.

In one of my previous apartments, I had this random high window with a wide sill that looked into the common area of a nursing home. My cat sat in the window and the residents waved at her, and she would meow back at them. Makes me smile thinking about it.

I eat Paleo and I feel wonderful. I sleep like a baby, a lot of my previous stomach issues have vanished, and I'm always satisfied, hunger-wise. It's also really conducive to CrossFit. That said, it's not for everyone. And while I love to talk about and photograph my Paleo meals (I loved doing this with "regular" meals before), I never feel the need to push it on anyone.

Definitely agree on cleaning and sweeping around the litterbox. We have two cats, and two litterboxes at the moment (they occasionally get a little testy over them) and we clean them both twice a day, and sweep once a day.

We also feed our cats high-quality food, so they do not shed much. But we use the Scotch pet hair remover on the furniture.

Wow. I'm an Upper East Sider, and this article makes us look like a bunch of rich vapid morons. Not all of us just walked off the set of Gossip Girl. There's tons of UESers that are just regular young working couples, singles, and families. I live in a walkup and shop at C-Town.

I had the same first thought LoL! 1000 sq ft is HUGE in NYC. I'd have a hard time giving up that kind of space.

I saw this ad and it grabbed my interest as well. The Manhattan Mini Storage ads are known for being a bit edgy.

That said, my husband and I have all intentions of living with a baby in our 550 square foot two bedroom. We have cats too. So I'm interested to see people's input.

I'm always excited to see homes the same size as mine with little ones, as we plan to have a kid in our 550 square foot two-bedroom. But am I missing something, because I couldn't spot where Ramona sleeps, and I was interested in that space.
