THANK YOU for using my fabrics in your fantastic nursery! I think it's beautifully done. I love gray & white myself, so this is about as pretty as it gets!
For anyone wanting the fabric or similar, please check out my store at Spoonflower: http://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/mrshervi
Or my store pellerinadesign.etsy.com

Thanks again :)

Ahh you have to include Spoonflower! For a very personalized nursery, that's got to be the best place to go. You can contact designer who's style you love, and ask for something really unique! I have worked with people in the past to get the exact design they wanted.

I would say paint the furniture white, too, but you can work around it if that's too big of a job. If you paint the walls a pale gray instead of a blue-tone, then the room will look classier instantly. Use dark navy (NOT royal blue tone) and deep orange to never get a playschool/disney effect. Then the honey-colored wood might just look nice & retro. It's coming back, you know... :)

We have the same type fort in our backyard - and there was no roof/canopy at all when we moved in. Ours is smaller than the one featured in this post - but maybe more common even.
I made a roof with a shower curtain. Less than $10 :)

The Expedit & Antilop are my top favorites (from a long list of ikea faves). I use the expedit for my laundry room - ALL my 3 oldest kids' clothes are in it! Check it out in my blog:
