This space looks fabulous! Everything seems to float off the ground with the clever use of mounted storage and furniture with skinny legs! The colors looks very serene and very well thought out. She definitely had some beautiful pieces in her home. I love her black and white cowhide rug, the black and white geometric art, the mongolian lamb fur throw in her bedroom and her gorgeous sofa. Angela said she had a problem incorporating a dining room table. I think she can use the area (where she is putting her sofa and the big mirror now) for her dining space. She can either use a round dining table or a rectangle table. For dining chairs, it's best to use something like the Louis Ghost chairs or the likes so her place still looks spacious and less crowded. To accommodate a larger seating area, maybe she can get a U-shaped sofa and put it in the same spot where her smaller sofa is now for tv watching or entertaining guests. If the shelve is removable, take it out and put in a colorful modern art. Then, layer it with two white vases for contrast (one tall, one short) with two vases side by side. (left or right side of mantle) Add three small tea lights in the center and voila, now you have a beautiful focal point! What To Do With Space Above Fireplace? Good Questions |

One or two of the beds look okay but I am still not too crazy about low platform beds. I prefer beds that I can easily get out of! On Beds that Look Awkward & Physically Challenging |
