I agree with Dollface, its not that bad. I think that this as a flip is better than it was done before. For the price & investment - good job!

we painted our daughters room orange to transition from her baby room of yellow. lots of people had their own reservations but she (we) love it. as an alternative to "i'm a girl so my room should be pink" its modern and bright. of course she has her pops of hot pink throughout - so its girly but still fun & youthful. Go orange!

its nice but i dont see how it reads Halloween.

I love Halloween and agree with threeacres that what I love about the holiday is the kitsch. In our home... <B>its glittery skulls, glow in the dark skeletons, bats with ruby eyes hanging from the eves, lit up pumpkins and ghosts. sometimes a little creepy is good! especially when faced with upcoming Thanksgiving... IMO that holiday is totally fake and boring.

argh i know your frustration! good job!

we mounted a flat screen on our brick fireplace... (i know, i know... but it really was the only place it could go since we knocked down a wall) and we're still looking for a way to hide the bulk cord (cable, tv, x-box). i've been told some cord hiders are sold are Wal-Mart but I don't shop there. ugh.

thanks for sharing, this is nicely done! i used it for inspiration in our sunroom where i just repurposed our handed down piece into a bar this weekend! instead of a mirror, i added fabric to the back to coordinate with our curtain and ceiling color.

oh, i've been saying i was going to do this same thing in our hallway. we have two chalkboards in our kitchen for our girls already. our hallway is pretty blah since its narrow, long and only leads to our girls bedrooms. not many folks see it. perhaps this bright space will be the inspiration i need to get it finished! nicely done!

Oh would love the tips on the sunroom - we have one like this, that I am trying to make more energy efficient - we live in very warm So Cal and in the middle summer its unbearably hot. I want ours to look like hers, like a modern beach retreat... drool.
