Yes the nursing staff was awesome! The hospital food is horrible! Good healthy food was the best gift I received, that and love and support from my friends and family.
On the day of my release, the nurse and I had a laugh reading my follow diet advice; no sweets or refined sugars. Almost everything they gave me was full of sugar!

I'm home recovering from colon surgery now. I loaded a bunch of books on my kindle, that was a lifesaver! I wish I'd thought to bring my heating pad, but my sister did eventually get it for me. Really soothing when you have surgery involving the stomach. I know, shocking that they wouldn't have a decent one in the hospital. I couldn't eat food for 5 days, so my friend brought me some lovely deli food. I received many beautiful flowers which I loved, but the best thing was when people asked me what I wanted and needed. One friend just sat and held my hand after my surgery until I fell asleep. Sometimes just a visit to say you care is great!

I wouldn't call these colors subtle either, but I love your place. It is beautifully balanced and fresh! I love the green lamp and shade, very different. It is girly, I don't think a guy would live there, but have what you love. Great job!
