Waffles! I generally make extra when I cook them so I can throw them in the freezer for quick meals or snacks when needed. You can fold things into them like tacos, make all sorts of flavors, use them with savory or sweet foods. I like cornmeal or wheat flour with finely chopped walnuts.

I have two pull-out cutting boards in my tiny galley kitchen and I've always been afraid to use them for the same reasons. This is very helpful! I believe I'll be taking advantage of this extra space very soon!

I actually love this. I used to have a wall of this color green in my bedroom, my son's crib is just like that one, and the paint-by-numbers were one of my favorite things as a kid. I was just thinking of getting some for my daughter! I agree with others, though, about painting those frames.

Wow... the critics! Ya know, some couples connect through doing projects together. The before might be perfectly functional, but there is nothing wrong with recreating it for your little girl. Fun project, awesome results, very happy daughter. Sounds like a win to me!

My yard looks almost exactly like your before picture. We moved into our home almost 2 years ago, but priorities so far have not included the backyard. It's nice to see what we could have in a few years!

POCKET DOOR! Do you have room in the wall to consider this? It would free up some space on the wall across from the toilet. We also have a super tiny bathroom with a similar layout and we are planning to do this.

Also, I've had to (on multiple occasions) bathe a toddler in a shower stall. It's not something you want to be doing on a regular basis.

Not photoshopped. If you look at the buttons on the other couch, then you start to see what it actually is. Though, that doesn't make it any less creepy to me.

This hasn't been a problem for me so far this year. Pregnancy kicks the nesting into high gear, so all those odd jobs become the No. 1 priority. Give me a few weeks, though, and I'll be neglecting them all over again.

I guess maybe I have an exceptional group of friends. I just came from my own mini-baby-shower (for the 2nd baby) and no one tried to take pictures...but I guess many of them don't have facebook either (No, they are not in their 50s. They are in their 20s). Onto my point. If it were my home, I wouldn't stop them from taking photos, but I don't see any problem with asking people not to post photos on facebook. I did that for my bachelorette party.

It IS difficult to buy for a small baby when they can grow so unpredictably, but I started looking for 24M/2T sizes once my daughter hit 9-12 months. Things like pajamas, hoodies, long-sleeved shirts... you can wear those for 3 seasons in PA. layer layer layer! And coats are actually kind of nice when they are a little big. I save more specific purchases like swimwear and seasonal shoes for purchase only at the time of need.

And truly, I do the "too small" bin in the closet and it is a wonderful thing. It keeps my husband from attempting to dress our little girl in clothes that don't fit anymore.
