I like that this home is genuine. I look at beautifully staged spaces and sometimes think, these people spend so much time, effort and money on their "things". It's a skilled art form, no doubt, to pick and place objects together for a "look". However, to see a sincerely lived in collection of things a creative person found fascinating is very welcoming and more intriguing for the experience of aquiring them. Plus, the light is perfection. :) Julie's Vermeer-Worthy Apartment in Paris House Tour |

i LOVE this house's spirit! it is happiness. don't listen to the haters color and fun are stimulating and healthy for an active mind. your children will probably be creative geniuses as well. what i love about our homes is that they are ours and nobody's opinion matters. MUCH LOVE to your lovely, talented family! Elizabeth's Colorful and Adventurous House House Tour |

when you have a full life and have little space, your space is going to have a lot of stuff in it. it's sad that people who live in small spaces get dumped on for "clutter". that's like saying, "you are not allowed to have mulitple hobbies or collect beautiful things because you can not afford or find a 4 bedroom house to house all of your stuff". this girl is obviously an active person who enjoys fluffy comfort when she finally plops and her home seems well organized using all of her alloted space. that's just my rant. - love, a long-time small space dweller Ellie's Carriage House |

I think that it is a realistic example of what the whole Re-Nest section is applauding. Re-using the things others choose to let go. And it does look like a set out of an Anthropologie catalog - exactly the point. You can have a textural, eclectic, vintage look WITHOUT spending a $1000 on a quilt and is authentic and sincere, not a "design style". Emily's Magical Homemade Home Green Tour |

I am so inspired by this home. More so by the family that dwell there. All of you are amazing and the work you did WILL last for generations. I hope that more people are convinced that you can live a modern life and keep history alive. Question: how do you seal the mortar? I live in a hand-built home of a stone worker and the fireplace he made "weeps" when it rains. Toni and Rick's Serenity in Stone Green Tour |

i love that she wasn't trying to "design" her home. she just lives with her wonderful stuff and appreciates the history of a home that has been inhabited for a long time. reminds me of ancestral tribal homes. the beauty, love and wear of many seasons. :) Emily's Magical Homemade Home Green Tour |

LOOVE the piles. I bet he knows exactly where everything is, too. Creative minds are seldom orderly I've found. Married to an artist and musician who comes from a looonng line of artist/musicians. Their piles are their filing system. Woody Biggs' Sausalito Studio Matchbook Magazine |
