That enclosed tower is going to need some ventilation, or they're going to be buying a new computer every couple of years.

As a music teacher, I think you should do everything you can to protect your instruments. Keeping your piano away from temperature and humidity/moisture changes will prolong the intonation and longevity of your instrument. When you're paying hundreds to thousands of dollars on a piano, it really makes a difference.

I must be playing too much ACIII. My first though when seeing that picture was, "I could totally climb that."

Tablets are still silly and pointless. I can do everything from a smaller screen on my GSIII. Yes, it's smaller. But it's also less intrusive. And I don't have to worry about where it's going to go when I need to use both hands for something. The iSheep will continue to buy iCrap, no matter what size it is.

You don't have to lift your plates and drinks, they'll stay on the table as it lifts. It's also a nice alternative to a TV tray if you want to eat in front of the TV.

This is just one guy's opinion of what people need. There's a whole bunch of sources out there that say a 6' viewing distance can benefit by a 32". Also, I believe his views on Blu-Ray are incorrect. There is nothing negligible about its quality compared to a DVD, no matter what size screen you own.
His market views may be correct, but take some of his advice with a grain of salt.

We moved from one apartment in our complex to another one. We hired a mover and must've picked them up in the truck. We started noticing the bites about a month after we moved in. We told the landlord, threw away our box spring (it was old anyway), and got a cover for the mattress.

We received three free treatments from the exterminator, who sprayed the entire bedroom, especially around the entrances (outlets, windows, etc.). We threw everything we could into the dryer and ran it on the highest heat.

It's been 11 months now, and no bugs, knock on wood.

The Multiquick 5 is 220v. You would need to get an adaptor so it will plug into a 110 outlet, and even then it may not run 100%.

The problem I have with owning movies online is that you don't know if your service will die and take your movies along with it.

While, yes, stuttering and stopping from my bandwith being choked by Comcast is a concern, I'm more worried about Vudu, Playstation Network, or another service's format just up an disappearing one day. It's not like "the cloud" or my personal hard drive are all that reliable, so I can't depend on storing the movie somewhere and hoping that I will always be able to access the movie I want.

On disc, it's there. Tangible. I can see it, and I can touch it. If it doesn't play, I get a new one. Does it take up space? Sure, but it'll be there if Apple decides to change its format to something that requires a whole new paid subscription. Sorry, but I ain't buying streaming as the end all, be all just yet.

I've kicked around the idea of getting a UV sanitizer for my Sonicare brush, but I've read reports that the nasty stuff on the toothbrush actually builds up a resistance to the UV light, mutating it so it can't be killed off that way.

Here's why I'm switching to an iPhone after my OG Droid is scheduled to be replaced in November:

1. There are accessories EVERYWHERE for iPhone. You're lucky to find a replacement battery for an Android phone, and if you do, you'd better buy it within 6 months, because you may never see it again, except maybe on Ebay.

2. I want full-on integration with everything, from my home stereo to my car, and iPhone just has Android beat on that. It seems like everything, from loveseats to steak knives have iPhone integration.

3. I know that when Apple upgrades to the latest and greatest iOS 3 months from now, my iPhone won't get left in the dust. My Droid went obsolete about a year ago, and it practically forces you to root or get left behind.

Other cons include price and a much longer "warm-up" period than regular bulbs. Still worth it, IMHO, but something to consider. LED daylight bulbs are another option, but even more expensive than CFLs.

Also, who's to say what format these movies will be in if you get rid of a DVD? Will Hulu, Vudu, Netflix, PSN, Amazon, etc., be around forever? They all use different pricing and formats for storing movies. I have always based my DVD buying on movies that I would be willing to watch 10 years from now. If you can't see yourself doing that, don't buy the DVD!
