As a patient of Poke and Russ's magical touch, I can attest that the space lends to a comforting and warm experience. And my tennis elbow thanks him for it everyday! So very proud of you, Russ! Poke Acupuncture: Bringing Together Needles and Design |

I tried this on a glass-top coffee table with no luck. Any other suggestions? Remove Screen Scratches with Toothpaste |

Having just moved into a studio apt a month ago, I share your pain. My suggestions: Don't be in a rush to fill the space. Be thoughtful and careful about what pieces you buy, less is more. A glass-top coffee table versus a solid piece makes my piece feel more open. I moved a dresser into the closet, placed small desk next to it and now it doubles as a mini office. Avoid room dividers as this can make the space feel even smaller. Stay away from curtains/drapes. Blinds/shades help the space feel larger when open. Be honest with yourself about how you use your space. Do you need a dining area? I usually eat right in front of the TV. Tray tables work just fine. I limited wall decor and kept the place apartment white to help it appear larger. Most of all, take your time. The room planner at http://www.thesofaco.com/ also helped me. I hope this helps.
