I personally lived in my glider, but the woman I bought mine from barely touched it. I would think where space is limited you could get away without one, but for feeding before and after sleeping, it's perfect, you don't need the ottoman for sure. If i did it again, i would go with an upholstered rocker. i really wanted an old fashioned rocker, but could not find a comfortable one.

That corner! I adore it all, books/art/trinkets. Adopt me.

With a 4ish month old, it's going to get tricker soon, but in the meantime, you're probably okay. With several naps and a little play time, there's not much else you would be doing at home.

I always said I'd much rather work right after delivery up until 5 or 6 months, then take mat leave. Except for the being tired part, babies are (can be) easy to take care of as newborns before they get to be active and cuter infants.

It is shockingly un-Novogratz like. I could go either way on the hanging bed, and I probably would have picked some different carpet tiles, but it is a nice room.

Ikea or a Safety First (gasp) for the height of it, even if it is ugly. I feel like this list is the "attractive" expensive cool potties.

They are so nice, but as listed, not great, but so what. Go for it now and worry later.

I have beautiful embossing presses (is that the right word?) and i am hesitant to use them, but i'm pretty sure i'll get them for my kids too and they can all stamp the front pages multiple times no doubt.

I've never used a gate, with two very explorative boys and two staircases. Just one of those things that can go either way.

Such drama here. I use a physical sunscreen (zinc oxides) inside the house (30' prior would be nice) then have the sprays as a reapplication agent for arms and legs. And wear hats!!!

We LOVE baseball, and took our babes to games, but found toddler age is near impossible. Even minor league games with more room and fun stuff to do, toddlers are so squirmy! So we'll try again in a few years.

I vote the mobile too. Etsy has tons I would want as a gift. (of course you may run into color coordination issues in a nursery)

Gum or veggies? Not my idea of a great gift, but I get it. I would hit the dollar racks at Target and see whats in there, depending on kiddos ages. It is a great idea to do it though.

I want one too, but $30 was steep and $40 is ridiculous. I can learn woodworking and make a tail for that.
