Wow- these are so much fun! What a great way to add a pop of color!

These are all great suggestions! I love the idea of creating a reading corner. I've done that with a chair I recently reupholstered and refinished... and I love my new reading nook!

These are some great possibilities for very small spaces! Another option is to simply get a piece of plywood cut down to the size you would like and add 2 brackets underneath... paint... and wahlah! Your own, super cheap, DIY nightstand!

I love yellow, but I feel like this piece could have benefited from a coat of paint that was just a little bit lighter. Fabulous paint job though! Refinishing furniture can truly give it new life.

I think there's a time and place for both! Room #2 shows a beautifully done dark wall, where Room #5 shows a relaxing light wall.

First and foremost, I would suggest removing the fan from the kitchen and replacing it with a chandelier. As for the cabinets, Rust-Oleum has a wonderful product called "Cabinet Transformations" http://bit.ly/gOjA2q. This could be a great and inexpensive way to refinish those cabinets! I suggest looking at the "linen" color they offer. This could be a beautiful contrast to the flooring. They also carry a "cabinet transformations" line. This would be an inexpensive way to help out those countertops! I would suggest the charcoal or onyx on the countertops. Other than that, toss in some modern hardware (Ikea has some great, inexpensive options), a modern rug, some neutral paint, and you'll be good to go! Best of luck! :)
