I made the Nantucket Berry Pie/Cake/Buckle this weekend with some frozen blueberries....tasted great, but quick question...do you really get berries spread throughout? I had a solid layer of blueberries on the top, which was delish, but not really what i was going for. Any suggestions? Great island! Side question -- I've long wanted those racks you can screy into the bottom of cabinets and hang wine glasses on (there are some in the middle of this cart). Where can you find those? I'm pretty slow on this, but you guys did an incredible job. You really warmed up the space and made it feel truly homey and functional. One specific question (if you're still out there paying attention to comments), where did you get that runner? I'd love to have something like it in my kitchen. my favorite is probably pork, yum! but what i really love to eat and cook and would enjoy having 10 new recipes for is hearty soup/stew. perfect for the cooling weather, and i'm in a (delicious) beans/greens/smoked meat-soup rut. My husband made cornish game hens with a spicy-sweet glaze, adorable mini-cauliflowers and wild rice. I made the spicy chocolate mousse recipe from this site. I never make dessert, I'm kind of afraid of it, but wanted to contribute to the feast so gave it a shot. Seemed hard to go wrong with all of that chocolate and cream. It was a total hit!
