I live in Seattle so all I've ever known is having a sales tax (10% in WA btw) on Amazon -They're headquartered here. However the savings you get from going online no matter the tax usually is the best way to go for the deal.

Wunderlist is my to-do list of preference right now. However with "Reminders" and geo-fencing with iCloud syncing having come to iOS5, I may be switching my family to that platform.

I live in Seattle, WA where Amazon is headquartered so I've always paid sales tax when ordering through them. It's not bad. It's still cheaper than most stores.

I made that exact stand about 2 years ago, it was sturdy and lasted me about a year before my wife got sick of how terrible it looked and had me throw it out. :( I'll admit, it's not the prettiest stand, but it WAS very easy to make and worked very well.

Wow, meant "cord," not "chord". Sorry for the brain fart.

I'm wondering how functional this set-up is.

1. No chord to his external hard drive to actually USE it.
2. No chord for syncing his iPad
3. No speakers? (Although I guess you could do wireless through an Ad Hoc setup ...but still.

I like it. It's almost 1:1 identical to my set up at home except it actually includes the necessary chords to work on all the things I use my computer for.
