I have neither a facebook nor a twitter account and I use pinterest. You don't have to give them that information. And dancedancekj, you don't have to sift through other people's pins to find what you like. With their "pin it" button, you can pin all day the things you like from the sites you visit and not be bothered by the repeated pins of others.

15 to 30 minute timeouts?? I do a minute per year of age. My son would be sitting there with his head between his knees waiting for the sand to run out.

I did this with my girls' dresser. I used the glidden paint samples to paint each drawer, so I didn't have to buy too much paint of each color. The little sample bottles were more than enough.

I made a reading nook for my kids that was totally removable. Building a bench should help with the foot boards. Here's the one I did. http://yvette-keeping-it-real.blogspot.com/2011/05/closet-turned-reading-nook.html

It makes it feel cozy. I don't think it's necessarily for blocking off sleep space. Adds interest and I think kids would love it.

I just read your comment lillabilly. I love it! I love that kids can still use their imagination instead of needing electronics. Especially to play games on what is intended for use as a phone.

I still can't believe parents let their children play with their expensive electronics. I don't let my kids even look at my phone! My 9 year can text and play some games but its off limits to the rest of them! Guess that's because I can't afford to just fork over the mulah to get a new one if they destroy it!

I was wondering the same thing too. I was wanting to do something similar with some bookshelves I made and enclose my girls beds with them. But I'm afraid of them getting knocked over. How would you solve that?

I use one in my linen closet next to the bathroom. I store nail polish, fingernail clippers, bubble bath, curling and flat irons, extra razors, bars of soap etc. Keeps my bathroom tidy and I can always find everything!
