Yeah, if it's someone's birthday, a pinata in his image would be kinda weird, right?

Picture it: junior high, 19-something-something. I was taking shop and the instructor told us to bring in a bottle which we'd be making into a lamp. Somehow I got my hands on one of those stereotypical Chianti bottles, you know, with the straw base. Wouldn't that make a swell lamp? Well, klutzo me dropped it on the way to school and had to bring in another bottle. That other bottle? A boring, generic, booze bottle. (Scotch, maybe?). Naturally, I did not drop that one and it got made into a lamp. And still works to this day.

Look at this very reasonably priced behind the door ironing board hanger. I have one that is similar. Also, I lean my step ladder against a wall.

I don't mind multiple lamp shades, as long as they're all translucent. I mean, a lamp is supposed to give off light, right, not block it.

The back is awesome. Remove the skirt or not, but definitely use some contrasting fabric on the pillows and it would look amazing.
