this video is not up to Kitchn standards, I hope. from the moment she said the pan was on "medium-high" heat, I knew we were in trouble. medium is the highest heat that eggs should be cooked on.

p.s. I'd send back that egg.

Nice to see a Persian recipe here but you do not give credit to the author.

My favorite source for persian recpes is at a blog called Turmeric and Saffron. Here's her version of kookoo sabzi http://turmericsaffron.blogspot.co.uk/2009/03/kookoo-sabzi.html

It used to bother me that my husband often slept apart from me, then I realized that, with my sleep issues, it's better that he's not there. I tend to resent him because his head hits the pillow and he's out while I am awake for hours, plus he goes to bed much later than I do. We are as intimate as we always were, tending towards the afternoon, rather than nighttime romps. We generally sleep apart when the weather is really hot and back together when it's colder.

I think I'd enjoy it more after the stylist left. Just not lived in enough for my taste.

Love their kitchen and REALLY love their website. I started a similar website in the USA, but never finalized it. Eventually I kept my favorite pieces and sold the rest to someone with a shop. (you can still see it online at offbeatboutique.biz). I had so much fun buying these items so I really am impressed with H is for Home. Ironically I am now in London and frequently visit the many charity shops here.

Aninhas, oooh. Do you eat that with a flatbread? I think I saw Anthony Bourdain eating something like that on No Reservations filmed in Istanbul.

As an American in London I discovered Kerrygold and when I went back to the states I sought it out because ordinary butter just didn't taste good any more.

Now i am back in London where Kerrygold is inexpensive. Thank goodness!

I have no affiliation to Kerrygold and I unabashidly recommend it to all!

I'll admit I can't recall the last time I bought a new physical cookbook.

I use my old cookbooks plus I look up recipes on line. I was a huge fan of finding recipes on line until I ran into a few where the measurements and instructions were VERY VERY wrong and I wasted a lot of time and ingredients in the process.

From then on I have been more careful when trying on line recipes.
