I love this house and the colors. I don't see pictures of the refrigerator or the "media center" in the tour, and am very curious, especially about the home for the television. Also: Owners do not reveal source of the two red couches, which are awesome. Any chance for some additional information? Thank you.

Well, I can hardly make it though all of the above comments but I am hoping that the vast majority recognizes that this cave-woman, in addition to having nothing positive to contribute to the executive branch of this country, has no design acumen whatsoever.

You know, I always write the best comments, but I have yet to win anything. That being said, this chair is one of my favorite icons of modernity - simple lines, rich color, comfortable. And wouldn't you know it: Red is my color scheme. Please see your way to select me as a winner. Thank you for your consideration.

In true Magellan fashion, I discovered apartmenttherapy by accident before anyone else had heard of it. I used to feel like it was just a little secret between you and me. And now, look at you: all these different cities, all this publicity. It's all good, but I miss "us," I really do. Perhaps the gift of this little book will bring us closer again, you know, like we used to be. Old school. I hope so.

I live in the South Loop, Chicago. My cat woke up at 3:30 a.m. (as usual) and I grabbed her and locked her in the bathroom. Then around 4:30, I felt the bed shake and thought, "How on earth did she get out of the locked bathroom?" But she didn't - - she was nowhere to be seen and the bathroom door was still closed! I figured, like some of the other posters here, that a large truck rumbled by - - -but I don't live right on a big street! Then I woke up to the news of the earthquake on the radio . . . didn't feel the aftershocks in my Loop office, though.

Oh, I could really use this iron and steamer! My current iron, a Hamilton Beach, dates back to 1979. My mother gave it to me as a gift for going off to college. Seriously! I have had to replace the cord and the plug twice, and it still functions, but . . . it is a little - how shall I put this - - worn out. Poor H.B. iron. And no special features! And poor me!! I work 4 jobs in various settings and the only time I think about buying a new iron is in the morning when I am ironing . . and then the day gets away from me and then another day goes by and -- well -- no new iron. AT, I would be so very grateful if you would consider my wrinkled plight for your giveaway. Thank you.
