What a cute house! I love when the house is a reflection of the people who live in it. And this one makes me feel cozy, warm, and welcome, so I can assume the owners are just dreamy.

My husband and I just bought our first house in Portland, OR. We had to let several pass because so many others bid over asking price and we just couldn't afford to keep up. Fortunately, we kept going and found our dream house. It's quite the fixer, built in 1917, but at 3,000 square feet of Dutch Colonial charm, it will perfect for us (after we spend the next year(s) fixing it up!!)

Beautiful. Love the paint color; so glad you went with your intuition and painted the room blue. What a spectacular, sparkling room.

Your house is so magical, so spectacular, so breathtaking. I love that it is influenced by people, places, and things you love. I love that it looks like you don't spend a fortune to have all the latest trends. Simply put, I love your house. I will use it as inspiration to turn my own home into a colorful sanctuary that reflects my family.

My husband and I don't skip the holidays every year, but this year we are taking off. We're renting a house on Vieques, a small island off Puerto Rico. We'll be back on the 26th, so we'll see our family at that time.

Wow. This is one of the most stunning tours I've seen in ages. I can tell these two are incredible artists with such a deep passion for design and natural beauty; it really shines in all they've created and chosen for their home. Their little boy is very fortunate to grow up in a home that is surrounded by so much creativity.

I commend you on the style, charm, and personality you give to your home. I saved so many of your photos for future reference because of the happiness that emits from them. Thank you for being a reminder that we don't need a house full of designer goods to create a beautiful home filled with love.

I agree with amy good house. I don't see anything wrong with your house; it's beautiful. You should really think about what you want to do before you make any pricey decisions (since you say money is tight right now). I would replace the roof first, and save for the other items after you are confident about what YOU really want.
Best of luck and enjoy your new home.
