Ditto on the kitchen floor - what fun. Wish there was a pic of the bedroom, I'll bet it's spectacular based on the rest of the apartment.

I'm surprised you didn't include the Kardemumma white plant pots from IKEA - they come in three diff sizes priced at $1.99, $2.99 or $19.99. Just perfect, with a little detail but all white and very affordable.

Your brass bed is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Where did you get it? I do love the rest of your apartment/workplace - very neat/tidy/functional and looks like it would be calming when work is over, but the brass bed is the best element!

I'm surprised you haven't mentioned Etsy.com as a source for terrarium kits if you want to buy a terrarium. There are many shops on Etsy that offer creative and different terrariums, from small to large, in very distinct and unusual containers. I've purchased from two shops: TinyTerrains and DoodleBirdie, and was very happy with the quality and ease of putting the kits together (thanks to good instructions sent with the kits).

Somehow I've never found a source for oriental rugs in the right colors - greens and yellows. Any ideas?

Wow - lovely home. I'd also like to see a house tour. I'm not a fan of blue, either light or dark, but this house could make me like it afterall. It just works!! I love the fabric you've used for the front door - it really is perfect and ties the colors together.

OMG that rug is fantastic - where did you get it? Everything in the room works so well but the rug is perfect!!!

I'm pretty sure the rug is by Susan Sargent. She used to have an amazing store in Bennington VT. She has a website - just google her name. She's a very talented artist who uses a really vibrant color palette.
