Your site now looks vaguely like amazon.com, only more painful to the eyes because you've got even more white going on than those guys. Very corporate -- it is cleaner but in a pretty antiseptic sort of way -- the posts just appear less interesting now, including old favorites. :(

this is great! I think I would need more color, but I just love this.

What's wrong with the old fashioned baby-sitter binder? You can put a heck of a lot more info in there without having to resort to tiny fonts, and while I don't know the layout of your kitchen, I think it would be a better plan to put emergency procedures there than on the inside of a cupboard - the only time I had a kitchen emergency in someone else's kitchen I did not start opening the cupboards. Mind you, I wouldn't have started flipping through a notebook either, I recall that I was too busy dealing with the stuff on fire. (The kitchen was fine. Designer oven - didn't realize that it had industrial settings.) One small, useful binder is not a lot of clutter.

meh. I could never work under that giant baby photo. everything's a little too shiny/matchy/new aside from the 9th one, which looks a bit like a dorm set-up.

Agree with virtuelsie, though for a style icon I think I'd rather have Augustus.

I find it really difficult to piece together the layout of the apartment from the pictures - I'd have to see a floorplan, I think. I wouldn't want the wallpaper in my apartment, but I'm ok with it here. What's going on with the light fixtures though - isn't it super dark in the apartment when it's grey outside?
