I think the pictures in the bookcase look interesting and sculptural. I also like how the frames look upright instead of slanted. Personally, I think it is an improvement than the bookcase on its side, it looks leaner and neater. Apartment Therapy Boston | Update to "Would You Block a Doorway?" |

I have the plaza. It nice to look at, and priced right. The only thing I wasn't expecting was how upright the back is. It is definitely not a lounging couch. The fabric is a microfiber, and it was really easy to put together. All in all, it works well for me. I would recommend it. I'm a grad student studying textile conservation and I agree with southof290, you should not dry clean it. What you want to do is a technique called wet cleaning. It is a gentle handwashing that works surprisingly well. Here is an article describing the process: www.quilthistory.com/ptr-wet%20cleaning.doc And like you noticed, water tackles a lot of dirt, sometimes its all that is necessary.
