Very lovely room! Also. . . such a sweet cat. I miss my recently departed orange tabby doing the same thing at the foot of my bed. Sigh.

My family jokingly told my fiancé that I could subsist on ice water and sweet potatoes. I don't need ice water.

I "inherited" an open timber frame home (former barn) when I got remarried, and it's been a challenge to make it feel cozy and comfortable. It's always a work in progress.
I read Apartment Therapy and sister sites for all sorts of inspiration. (Does anyone know of sites with advice for open timber house design/decor and large garden spaces? To me, everything seems geared towards small gardens and small spaces. Love reading them, regardless.)
