Don't give away your vinyl collection! Vinyl is going to outlive the compact disc but of course, it's your choice to make. Apartment Therapy New York | Thursday Giveaway: My Record Collection I - Elvis Costello |

It doesn't look that different (sorry!). When I clicked on the post, I was expecting a new rug in a new size. Maybe the last picture illustrating the change could have been from a wider angle so we could appreciate it better. P.S. Herbie is adorable. Classic Century is made out of earthenware, which is probably the least durable type of ceramic. It is prone to chipping and crazing (those tiny hairline cracks). I own this dinnerware but it stays on display until I have a dinner party. I wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase it for their everyday dinnerware. Earthenware is sensitive to extreme changes in heat and isn't going to hold up as well in the dishwasher. So beautiful, yes. Durable, not so much. Will you like it longer than your Ikea set? yes. Will it last longer? yes, if you like hand-washing your dishes. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Classic Tableware: Eva Zeisel's Century Collection |

I would check out discount retailers like TJ Maxx or Marshalls. You may not find something every trip and it takes some patience (that I'm not particularly blessed with) but you can definitely find some gems. They often have really nice bedding at affordable prices. Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI Good Questions: Anthropologie-style Bedding? |

Shilojean, do you know for a fact that UO and Anthropologie has the same upholstery vendors or are you making an educated guess? Apartment Therapy New York | NY Good Questions: Experience with Ordering U.O. Sofas Online? |

I love the two sofas, and looking at the Andre vs. the Ian from Room & Board...I would definitely go with Andre. I agree with KTG on sectionals not being that great to reuse. You can put a sofa anywhere but it looks weird to break apart a sectional (especially one that has arms). Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI Good Questions: Sectional, Long Couch or 2 Couches? |

I said now. The pitcher looks like the Ona pitcher from Crate & Barrel. The stools remind me of a pair of Camper shoes...how the pattern runs from one on to the next. Very now as well? Apartment Therapy Chicago | Guess the Decade: Sunny Rec Room Bar |

I do have to say that this post is pretty hilarious. I agree with quiltmaster. Not to dog on rag rugs....they have their place and time but they are what they are. (And $200 for a 3x5 rag rug is not exactly what I would call affordable.) Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Handwoven Rugs by Gene Straus Designs Weaving Studio |

I agree Haley, I wish there was another picture. I think it could be charming in a Country Living sort of way. I'm not how I would feel about it in a more modern backyard. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Hot or Not? Ceramic Plate Garden Border |

I like the mod idea as well...I would opt maybe for a high gloss white table to contrast with the heavy wood. Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI Good Questions: Nightstands to Suit this Headboard? |

Hasina, I don't think that everyone who purchases a "knock-off" piece is trying to pretend that they own the original or is trying trick people into believing that they do. I think that judgement maybe a little presumputious. Maybe people just enjoy the design but can't afford it. What do you feel about pieces that are inspired by the original but aren't trying to be a perfect clone? Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | LA Hot Posts: 05.11.08 |

I might be imagining things but I am pretty sure World Market carries those dust pans (not in all of the colors..I remember seeing silver and red). I saw them at the World Market in Oak Brook and Anthropologies definitely sells the kitchen timers. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Best of Home and Housewares 2008: Dulton |

The CB2 pony chair in oat wouldn't match a white table (even though it does look white in the picture)...it really is a grayish cream. Hence... the name oat. Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI Good Questions: Chairs to Go With the Docksta? |

I think the weirdest part of this whole thing, is that it's available at overstock.com. Where do you think they tried to sell it before it landed there? Ekk... (that's a hypothetical question that doesn't really deserve a response). Apartment Therapy Chicago | Hug Me Pillow |
