Its great that so many new parents are getting on board with cloth diapering. We used cloth on all three of our kiddos (ages 8, 6, and 3 now). Its really not a big deal once you get used to it. Not only will it save you money, but its environmentally friendly and seems so much more comfortable for the child. Another bonus? They usually potty train sooner than kids wearing disposables!

Pi, the kids can climb on top of the playhouse. So it essentially has a lookout tower effect. There is even built in seating. The photos don't show it well, but the additional photos on my blog give a better view. Great for viewing the stars in Big Sky country! :-)

we just recently discovered the Oz books in our very new and very small town. they have vintage copies of the entire series and our two boys, ages 7 1/2 and almost 6, adore them! they talk about the stories and characters almost as if they are real. it's amazing! the stories are so imaginative and well written.

We have always been partial to brighter colors. I think they look best in a more contemporary home. In our last house, a comparatively "modern" house by midwestern standards, we used bright (what some would call neon) colors in the bedrooms, private bathrooms and basement area. The rest of the house was neutral. You can take a look at this post to see examples: http://slowmomama.blogspot.com/2010/07/psychedelic-home-tourmore-of-upper.html. Bright colors are not for everyone, but they sure do add some pizaaz!
