I absolutely HATE HD. It makes everything and everybody look like it was shot on crappy video I equate with Soap Operas and acting class. It completely degrades all the beauty and work and aesthetic of what goes in to make things look like they are 'on film' and causes absolute professional actors to come across as amateurs. h-a-t-e i-t. arg! i must admit to a wee bit of frustration! we have been looking for the whitest of white stone/marble/caesarstone what have you for our bathroom (to line the floor of our 'nook' as well as line a frosted sliver of glass... our go to product was caesarstone's 'pure white' (product 1141) which is the most whitest of white. I was told that for 6 SMALL pieces (measuring: 4" x 23", 4" x 24", 50" x 6", 50" x 6", 4" x 6" and 3 7/8" x 6") that the LOWEST price would be $1100!! And, for the 'medium' grde of white thassot marble/stone, it would be $600! Is this just Brooklyn? I too have been looking for affordable (read closer to hundreds not thousands $$$) sheet like materials to line my stairway and overhanging loft space (which would need half height 'walls' of some sort) and, whereas I love the 3-form, could never afford it.
