I like this idea, but I don't see how I could possibly go through enough toilet paper in order to have enough to make planters each year. Maybe I should stop buying the jumbo rolls I guess.

For the chalkboard one headboard, I want to know how you keep the chalk from getting on the sheets? Seems to me it would become uncomfortably dusty.

wow, using vegetable oil on top of existing grease is pretty counter intuitive... though that doesn't mean I won't try it sometime.

I love the bookshelves! that blue built in with the nice finish is just fabulous. The apartment does appear to be very tied together, though I don't think I am daring enough to use those big print wall papers personally.

Thanks for the summary. I just inherited an outdoor garden compost bin (along with the garden associated with it). Have been looking for a good summary of all the different ways to compost-- need a crash course in preparation for the spring.
