I've been a fan of Giddy Giddy ever since my sister introduced me to their adorable hair clips and refreshing blog. I have two boys, but my niece has always had their lovely handmade clips adorning her hair. I really enjoy Teri's blog and seeing her truly creative and unique projects. I love involving my kids with arts, crafts and encouraging the creative process...so it's great to see a mom who shares her passions with her children too.

I love the look of maps as wall decor, especially in kids' rooms...it's a timeless look, visually interesting and educational. I've painted a few map murals for my well-traveled clients where we've incorporated mini "mementos" from places they've visited, painted directly onto the location. My son's room is a vintage transportation themed room and I've collected a few "vintage" map reproductions to frame throughout. One will probably be a mounted onto a cork board so we can pin the places we've visited.

THIS is the kind of house tour I come to AT for. Nice to see real people and how they create their real spaces with so much personality and character. I love their eclectic style, it's clear that a creative and hip family live here. Seems like a fun place to hang out...

Love this house tour...full of personality and character. Nice to see a space where you can get a feel for who lives here and not like you're just walking into a model home. I actually like your sense of humor with the wall art. Nice to see people not taking themselves (or decorating) so seriously. ;)

Yay! Ray and Kristin are our friends/neighbors and we've watched them transform their home over the last 10 years, ever since we all moved into this "slice". So cool to see their house tour on AT and fun to see some of the mural painting I did for them featured too.

I love the vibe of this place....I could spend some serious time checking out all the curiosities...I'm in So Cal, so I definitely will next time I'm in L.A.

LOVE the butcher paper menu roll, the tin tile ceiling, the salvaged wood pallets...EVERYTHING. I want to have a latte there and just enjoy the vibe of this thoughtfully designed space.

I would prefer it as wall art to a rug...I like the concept perhaps modified as a cabinet door for hidden storage space (so that the wall or shelf looks like a library bookshelf, but it's really a panel that opens up to reveal a secret storage area).

This great collection and the pieces are in wonderful condition...we've been lucky enough to hear them first hand. In these days of "DJ ipod", it's an amazing and refreshing experience to hear and enjoy music in these true, original forms. Thanks for sharing!
