Definitely! My husband and I hacked a piece of Ikea furniture for our rabbit hutch. Now that we have a few power tools we are building one out of real wood. Options for small animal cages are not pretty and I don't understand why. Cages should be practical and fit the pet's needs, but they certainly don't have to be ugly! I have a vanity that is very similar. My mom stripped off the paint and re-stained it. A warning, the top may be a laminate, mine was. My dad ended up cutting a new piece for the top, and I trimmed that with copper leaf. If you'd like, you can see it out here. I recently trimmed my vanity with copper leaf! It is a beautiful metal! Also, I definitely recommend copper pots/pans, I have them and love them. Keep some Bar Keepers on hand though, they need a deep clean every couple of months. How Can You Not Love Copper Housewares? |
