I own half of your space and my bedroom doesn't look this crowded. Your living room is cool, but your bedroom looks like a teenager's mess.

All the vases I own were thrifted. Some of them are awesome mid-century West German pottery. I would pay from a dollar to about $10 max for unique pieces that stood the test of time!

I did this all summer with Earl Grey tea. I added lemon, a little sugar and fresh mint.

I just made the recipe. It's a keeper! It also works great as a dip. It's delicious on it's own, but I added a little garlic oil and toasted sesame oil to give it even more puch. Yum!

We have a grill wok we love to use for stir frys. It adds such a nice smoky flavor.

Why not contact designer Nina Provan? After all, the article in the EST magazine is about her latest home design works. I bet the magazine would refer you to her to get the sources of the design elements she used.

Hang a large orange painting or framed poster on that wall next to the cabinetry.

I would first try to envision how you will want to renovate the rest of he bathroom, so your immediate moves fit with the long term plan.
For now, a simple white ceramic floor would work. It will be easy to match with any future walls. As far as the handle on the wall is concerned: I would remove it, along with the paper roll holer. Above he holes (under the window), install a towel handle about the same length as the window. Make sure you always have at least one nice bath towel (make it match: green would be nice, work with what you have) on the handle, so the holes are always hidden. You need a towel handle close to the shower/bath anyway. Purchase a standing toilet paper holder. It's a temporary and affordable solution, and your bathroom will be more functional. Good luck and have fun in the process!

This is THE BEST nursery I've seen on A.T. It's totally my style too. I might attempt to copy this when I have a baby!

I wouldn't risk ruining a good wine by putting it in a blender (although I admit I use the same blender for indian curries and fruit smoothies... and my smoothies never had a garlicky or hot pepper taste, but still). Just buy a decanting pourer to use when you're really in a hurry.
