I'm a Montessori kid myself. I cant' remember really going to school when I was a kid. I always felt that I was going there to play. Years later I was surprised when I dug up knowledge about things and friends wondered how I knew them. I always thought my education was "standard". I have a similar sort of outlook as Daffodil. New notebooks were hard to write on, because I wanted to keep their pristine condition for as long as possible. I have a Canon Ixus 80 IS and it's worked well for me over the years. I'm very biased for the Canon Ixus/Powershot line. It's got great color, pretty small enough to lug around and has a fast reaction time. It's got nice features you can play around with but the automatic mode is good if you're in a hurry. Believe it or not, we were actually taught how to rinse dishes in school. :) Rinse off all the oil and leftover food before washing. You can do this either by wiping it off with brown paper or newspaper; or take a small amount of warm water and rinse the plates and utensils. My rice cooker comes with a steamer tray that fits just between the pot and the cover. I use it to steam vegetables and easy-to-cook meat like fish. Just place it above the rice as it steams. It's a great fuss-free way to cook my dinner. How To Steam Vegetables Home Hacks |
