My parents have had a Miele for years and I love it. It has most of the same features and pros that you listed here, which is interesting considering that it is about 14 years old! Beautiful and very Swedish (but not generic). Helsingborg is a neat little town and it's cool to see the interior of one of the homes there. I like the way the apartment is uncluttered and minimal, without looking cold or empty. All the white really works to keep the place bright looking, which I'm sure is especially important during the winter! I'm not doing the Cure, but am hoping this is a good place to ask this question, since I know the Cure involves decluttering!: I'm moving soon and would like to donate some things - does anybody know of a charity that will pick up donations (not furniture)? Housing Works? Goodwill? I don't live near any place like that and have no access to a car. Ideas much appreciated! Thank you! Wow, you're all very organised! I'm usually up until 2am packing the night before I go on a trip. At minimum, I take out the trash and do the dishes. I'll add my vote to following the baking soda and vinegar with boiling water. Done several times in a row I've gotten bad clogs out like that (including hair ones). It also works preventatively. Thanks for the post - I've been thinking about doing this in my washroom using some of my collection of National Geographic maps.
