Use it to help your puppy with demodectic mange AKA "puppy mange" without giving them dangerous oral pesticides like ivermectin. The oil smothers the mites, moisturies their dry irritated skin to prevent secondary infections, and the antifungal properties removes the mite's food source, yeast.

if those are your dogs in that picture, good luck to you sir or madam! GSPs are sweet crazy dogs. i'm going to assume you already are a great owner who trains their dogs but still have a few stubborn issues, because dogs are not robots who can be programmed to be perfect all the time. my method is mostly to have stuff on walls in frames, on shelves, and if anything is on the floor, it's big and heavy. it still limits me, because i would like to have other decor like sheepskin rugs on the floor or throw pillows on the sofa, but it's not going to happen while i share my life with big energetic dogs. i know from firsthand experience that bird dogs can be the most challenging types of dogs to occupy both physically and mentally - a 10 mile run is nothing to them. so probably, you and i are both going to have to be satisfied with slightly minimalistic decor. :)

The best advice I can give to any dog owner looking to rent is to get your dog CGC certified and TDI certified if possible. I've moved 5 times with these beasts, who are all on the "dangerous breeds" lists, and once I pull out their certificates, no one turns me down. CGC certification is easy for any responsible dog owner, just requires basic good manners and training. Dogs with quirks may not be able to pass TDI, but it's great if you can. Most landlords are very impressed by therapy dogs and their little vests with official looking badges sewn on them. Shows that you are serious about responsible ownership and that your dog is well behaved.

When it comes to that, do any of the commenters think it's logical to assume most if not all would-be attackers/robbers would be deterred from targeting someone with a pair of "scary" dogs? By scary I mean traditionally intimidating breeds, Dobermans, Rottweilers, etc.

This is very interesting for me (single mid-twenties woman) because I've NEVER thought about the safety of opening my door to someone knocking. I just normally don't do it at night because it's annoying, unless I know someone's coming over. And I think it's because for my entire adult life, I've had large intimidating-looking indoor dogs. It's amazing when I think about it how dependent I am on them. I've never thought twice about going on a nighttime stroll with them around downtown LA either. I guess someone could take them down if they had a gun though, so it's probably time for me to start acting more carefully, for my dogs and my own sake.
