Here's a case where I prefer the 'before' to the 'after'.

I thought the point of a garden was to fill it with plants, not get rid of them.

I'd rather not get any gifts at all, unless it's something I actually need or want.

If you must give me something, give me food. Even if I don't like it, I can always share it with friends and co-workers.

I'm really big on color, can't stand an overdose of neutrals.

But this place really works! Great job!

It reminds me of my great grandmother's house, except hers was filled with deer and horses rather than pugs.

This space makes me feel all cosy and happy. It stirs up so many good memories.

Green and gold together make me think of Oz.

I strongly prefer the Before to the After.

It's very fanciful. It's as if the residents are providing for little elves and fairies that secretively share their home. I find myself almost wondering if a shoemaker lives here.

Where's the ball pit?

I agree with everyone who suggests a paint color somewhere in the area of red. You want a pigment that will absorb green light while reflecting red and blue light, to essentially cancel out that green cast. You should experiment with several different hues and shades to determine what works best at different times of the day and throughout the year (keeping in mind that those leaves may not be there in the winter).

For the record, magenta is the most effective pigment for absorbing green light. This is why many jungle plants have purple-ish, magenta-ish colors on the undersides of their leaves. It's for capturing the green light that reflects off of other leaves.
