I went with Paperless Post, too, this year. The graphics are well done and there is an option to print if the recipient wishes to hang the card with others received in the mail. Personally, I'm trying to become more conscious of the paper I use. I figure if I send a snail mail card it will be cherished for a few weeks and then recycled. Why not give the option of saving the card forever on a hard drive? Do You Send Out Holiday Cards? |

Ha! I agree with JudiAu, I'm so tired of these pom-poms and the other nursery design elements listed. I have no problem if you decorate with them, I just need some new inspiration! Pom Pom Fever! |

Just imagine how these will look in a landfill, because you know they weren't built to last. The Young ExplorerHot or Not | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

This is absolutely ridiculous! Is this "project" for someone who actually has time on his or her hands? Is it to satisfy some obsessive need to organize? I'm with the crowd: external hard drive and a program (I use Time Machine) to back everything up daily. Organizing Photos | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

When I was growing up, my brother and I had a choice between a birthday party or a field trip. We could go to the zoo, a baseball game, the Belmont horse race park, a museum, or sometimes a weekend trip to Washington DC, Amish country in Pennsylvania, etc. (these, of course, are places we went!). Every year, until the end of high school when it wasn't cool anymore, we chose a field trip, and we still reminisce about our experiences. This is something I plan on doing for my children as I'm sure they will chose a new experience over stuff! Give Experiences Ditch The Stuff And Things | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

Coming from a design standpoint this room just looks a bit messy to me. Lots of great ideas with no visual calm to enjoy them. The color scheme is great, but every wall is covered with furniture. I know it's a small room...but negative space can do wonders! Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh | Mini Nursery Tour: Charley Mae's Modern Eclectic |

I love this little house! The decorating is so cohesive. Each room is distinct but has the same cozy-modern feel. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Small Cool 2009: Everyeskimo's Hideaway Small Division #15 |

I think this was a good attempt at the open kitchen look. However, the space would feel more open if the upper cabinets were removed completely and long white shelves were installed in their place. Also, the metal bowls on top add unnecessary clutter. The lighting is really successful, though! Good quick DIY job. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Look: Awesome DIY Kitchen Makeover! Austin |

this installation looks a bit flat...I've seen tea-stained (or coffee stained, for that matter) coffee filters stacked en masse that looked like the underside of mushrooms or large peony blossoms--quite beautiful, lots of texture Apartment Therapy Boston | Hot or Not? Coffee Filter Wall Decor |

I have a similar wooden activity gym that my baby has been intrigued by since birth (she's presently almost a year old). At each stage of development it seems she discovers something new about the moving parts: twisting, sliding, jingling, etc. Now she pushes it around like a walker! Her soft Tiny Love gym lasted a month or two, but hasn't held her interest much. Plus, the wooden gyms look great anywhere in the house! Wow! Thank you so much for your comments! To answer some questions: The printed curtains in the kitchen are panels of Marimekko fabric. The rug in the living room is from CB2 (last year). The couch is from Bo Concepts. The bedside lamps are from Ikea. The prints over the sofa are from the Charlie Harper book that's sitting on the coffee table! Thanks again!
