I love hearing about farming like this. I think I could spend hours in there weeding those seedlings, it does look very "zen" :) Spring Seeding: March at Quail Hill Farm A Year in the Life of a Farm |

This is so cool!! I love their entire approach, and it is no wonder specialty chefs caught on to this farm's value. I would love to tour this place! I just went on a farm tour here in Charlotte, NC, to learn more about where our food comes from and who produces it, and was going to post my experience on my blog - I will definitely be adding the link to this article. @Sparkler, I was just going to say that! ;) I live in North Carolina and that is where the Bechtler is. If you live in the Carolinas or are passing through, here is a guide to all of the galleries here: http://livefortheseason.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/charlotte-art-gallery-guide.pdf (the events are from a year ago, but it's a great list of the galleries). It is from my blog: www.livefortheseason.com, and I wrote it a while back for Uptown Magaine. United States of Design Road Trips: The South |

I really enjoy this story. To see how Apartment Therapy evolved is pretty cool. Originally I thought the "therapy" part was because looking at these photos was like therapy to the viewers, (can you tell I love design?) but now I see it in a whole new light. Great article! You are so right in seeing the connection between a well designed home and the impact on those who live in it. I think that sometimes people get intimidated when they hear "design" and "decor", because they think they either don't have an eye for it or they don't have the money to do it, when really you don't need either one. Design is different for everybody, and it's simply about making the most out of your space to create the best experiences and environment for your lifestyle. It doesn't need to be fancy by or live up to any standards, it just needs to be beautiful to your own eye and encourage you to live your best life. So great that you are helping people achieve that!
