I strongly disagree with comment #1, it is great to get out with your babe. If you are breastfeeding, it is super easy! We went camping during my maternity leave and it was great. Here are my tips:

I too was alarmed that the laundry detergent is stored on a shelf above the bed. Really thinking that a 2.5 year old is ready to share a room with a brother, not an appliance. Boston's Laundry Lair Smaller Cooler 2011 Entry #25 |

ergo, carseat with handle...so nice for transporting, a breast pump, evenflo glass bottles (they are classic), lots of cloth diapers for burps and feeding, we love the funzi bunz cloth diapers, ear thermometer, a cotton hat you love because it will make you happy, a few pacifiers if you plan to use them, a stroller (get a cheapo used one to go with your car seat and then in a few months you can upgrade and resell the cheepo one) as an upgrade we LOVE the Bob revolution, a baby book because it really is worth remembering all this stuff and a great camera with an extra battery pack. Best of luck. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Good Questions: Baby Essentials? |

BPA is really only a problem when it starts to leach out of the plastic. BPA in bottles is a potential issue, because the bottles are washed at a high temperature, thus potentially aiding the migration of the plasticizer (BPA) out of the plastic into the liquid the baby is drinking. The lining of the the containers that dry formula is packaged in may contatain BPA, but most likely the BPA is staying in the lining, because one does not heat the dry formula in the containers. The real potential issue is when plastics are heated above their glass transition temperature and the little components in the plastic start to move/ leach.
