just be sure to only do that with latex paint. my cousin tried that trick with lacquer based finish. i had to air out the fridge for two days!

hi everyone.

i have a question for anyone who has ever stained/sealed any wood. i am building a bar top out of cypress and mahogany. every clear finish i have tried has turned it too yellow. does anyone have any suggestions about what i could use that would keep it closest to the natural color and still protect the wood?

please help me decide....

i took out the wall seperating the wall between my kitchen and dining room. i am going to extend the counter from the kitchen into the dining room and make a bar. the question is, do i leave part of the wall above and install pendant lights to hang down over the bar or do i remove the whole wall and install cans all the way across and new sheet rock for both sides?
